This site is an area for beta testers of a software project I am currently working on. The software is being done for ORCA (Oregon Cultural Access), a non-profit organization. The software is intended for people with mental health disabilities or for the families of such people with disabilities. The software monitors the user's health by taking a series of quiz questionnaires with questions pertaining to the user's mental and physical health. The software minimizes to the user's system tray and notifies the user via an alarm when it is time to take the next questionnaire. After logging the user's input for a sufficient number of days, the results are calculated. The user is given averages, information on areas for possible improvement, basic trends in mood, etc. over time, and will eventually provide a detailed analysis and links to online resources that the software determines the user might have some use of. This software was and is being created using Visual Studio 2005 in C++. This software is available for download at this web site. The web site is, for now, an area for people to test the software out and provide feedback. After a user has tested the software product to his/her satisfaction, they can return to the web site and fill out a software feedback questionnaire to give us information on areas of improvement for the software. This questionnaire was written in ASP.NET & C# 2.0, and the user's/beta tester's feedback is anonymously saved in an XML document on the server for me and others working on the project to read. |

This site provides information on stigmatizing behavior regarding those with mental illness. The site has a questionnaire based survey written in ASP.NET that gathers user input and saves it on the local server in an XML archive. After submission of a visitor's survey data, the data is immediately analyzed and processed using C#, and an analysis is provided to the user based on his/her input. There's also a message posting method available on the site where visitors may post information on the website for others to read. This feature also incorporates ASP.NET and XML in the same way as the survey feature. |

Body Balance Institute
Body Balance Institute offers a wide variety of personal fitness and wellness services. Among the offerings available at this studio are private and group sessions with the Pilates Method, the Gyrotonic Expansion System, and nutrition and massage therapy. Presently I am working on this site as a website administrator. I mostly make updates to the website, including new pages, news, schedules, and other additions. I have recently added a Flash animation slideshow with various pictures of the studio. I have also recently added a JavaScript drop down menu for the main navigation of the site. |
